Okanagan Rail Trail – Kelowna’s side

The Kelowna side of the Rail Trail is characterized by a vibrant urban experience. Park your vehicle at Knox Mountain and pop onto the trail right in downtown Kelowna! Add a cidery or winery to the trail to have a real Okanagan experience.

The Rail Trail is under construction at Ellison Lake so grab a bite to eat at Upside Cidery which is Certified Organic or turn back after you get done watching some planes take off!

Paul’s Tomb/Knox Mountain

Knox Mountain is one of Kelowna’s top rated attractions becasue of its beautiful view of the city! You add an Ebike to the experience and you will have an incredible 2 hours! It’s quite the climb so the electric assist makes the climb fun.

Okanagan Rail Trail to Lake Country or Vernon

The Okanagan Rail Trail is a truly unique experience, with a total length of 50 km starting at the north end of Kalamalka Lake and ending at the center of Okanagan Lake, downtown Kelowna. With the trail being a maximum grade of 1.3%, biking or walking the trail is a breeze. Enjoy scenic views along the way with 24 km of the trail being on along lakefronts, creeks, and natural habitats.
